Turn a goal into a system you can actually follow.
RodionSkill connects goals, skills, tasks, learning and focus time into one clear path — so each day has a meaningful next action, and completed work becomes visible progress.
Your to-do list doesn't know what you're trying to become.
The goal lives in one app, the tasks in another, the learning somewhere else, and the notes wherever they landed. Each tool is fine. Nothing tells you whether today's work moved the thing you actually care about.
RodionSkill draws the line through all four.
Goal
the outcome, with a deadline and a method you choose
Skills
a tree of dependent skills, what has to come before what
Plan
tasks, in the planning method that fits how you think
Today
one next action, and a focus timer to do it in
Progress
calculated from work you finished and time you logged
Four steps, once — then it runs daily.
- 1
Define the outcome.
Name what you want to be able to do, set a deadline, and fill in the method you trust — SMART, HARD or Think-big.
- 2
Build the skill path.
Break the goal into skills and set what depends on what. There is no fixed curriculum — the tree is yours, and you can start with three nodes.
- 3
Turn it into daily execution.
Skills become tasks; tasks get planned on the board you prefer — Eisenhower, MoSCoW, Linear, GTD, Kanban or Kaizen — and land on your calendar.
- 4
Learn, focus, see progress.
Work through lessons and flashcards, run a focus session, and watch the tree fill in.
One chain, three links you can see working.
Every screen below is the real interface. Follow the highlighted skill — Dialect basics — from goal to tree to today.
Goals become systems.
A goal here is a structured object, not a line of text: a deadline, the method you chose, the skills it decomposes into, and the tasks currently attached to it.

Skills become paths.
The skill tree is the part no task manager has. Nodes depend on other nodes, so the order is explicit and "what should I learn next" stops being a judgement call.

Plans become today.
Every morning the chain resolves into one screen: the next action, drawn from the skill you are actually on, plus the rest of the day and a timer to work inside.

Two views. One system, one set of data.
Same account, same tasks, same numbers — rendered at the density you want today. Switch it below and watch what changes: layout and detail, never the data.

Not a language app. The same chain, four kinds of goal.
Each of these is one goal, its skill path, today's actions and the progress that follows.

Stop managing disconnected lists. Build a system that moves your goal forward.
Start with one goal and three skills. The plan, the daily actions and the progress follow from there.
Frequently asked questions
How is this different from a task manager?
A task manager stores what you decided to do. RodionSkill stores why: the goal above the task, the skill it belongs to, and what has to happen before it. That structure is what lets it show a next action that isn't just the oldest unchecked box, and progress that means more than "fewer items left".
Is it only for learning?
No. Learning is one system inside it. People use it for shipping projects, professional skills and research just as often — the skill tree works the same whether a node is a lesson or a deliverable.
Do I need a finished plan before I start?
No, and you shouldn't try. Start with the goal and three skills you're sure about. Add nodes as the shape of the work becomes clear — the tree is meant to be edited, not authored once.
Can I use it without skill trees?
Yes. Goals, tasks, inbox, calendar, focus, notes and flashcards all work on their own. The tree is what connects them into a path — but nothing forces you to build one.
What does XP actually mean?
XP is a record of completed work — finished tasks, lessons and reviews, plus logged focus time. It's there so you can see effort accumulating over weeks. It doesn't unlock features and nothing is awarded for opening the app.
Is Russian supported?
Yes — the whole interface is available in Russian and English, switchable at any time, and the choice is remembered.
Does it work in a mobile browser?
Yes. RodionSkill is a responsive web app — it works in your phone's browser with the same account and data. There is no separate app to download.
What are Focus and Workspace?
Two layouts over the same data. Focus shows one next action and hides everything else; Workspace shows context, priorities and progression at once. You choose per device, and rollout is still in progress.
